In thick magical jungles of Kalaripuram, there used to live a legendary and wise Guru, who discovered how to channel magic through the ancient martial art of Kalaripayattu. He passed on this magical knowledge to his two sons, Guru Palan & Guru Veta. The Kalari Kids train in two schools led by these Gurus individually. Team Guru Palan with Beenu, Meena, Shyam, Unni and Ami are often put against Team Guru Veta with Raaka, Dhaana, Mani, Lekha, Langot and Monster. While Guru Palan believes in bringing the best out of his students with a more soft and lenient approach, challenging his students to think out of the box, Guru Veta does the same in a rigorous & tough manner. Apart from learning Kalaripayattu, the kids have a normal life, they spend the rest of their time studying and playing with each other. The show has some added cuteness and innocence because of the little ones, Unni and Ami training under Guru Palan.
