M.Des Admissions 2017

A new group to the M.Des programs are to be enrolled, in User Encounter Design (Group 2017 to 2019) starting from 2017/18 Academic Year.

The admission to the SIDs’ under the M. Des program will observe the following steps.

Stage 1

Applicants will be selected according the GATE or CEED performances. The candidates that will be shortlisted under the M.Des Programs will then be contacted for the Studio Personal Interaction and Test to be administered at SID. Applicants will then enroll for SID & provide an authentic GATE or CEED Score. The authenticity of the GATE or CEED performances would be according to what is required by IITs.

Stage 2

Studio Test

Each of the shortlisted applicant will go through the Studio Test.

Stage 3

Personal Interaction

This is the session where the respective applicants appear for the Studio Test conducted by a committee of subject professionals.

Last Selection Criteria:

i. GATE or CEED score would be put into consideration for selection of the applicants for the second stage.

ii. The lastshortlisting is based on the collective performance of the applicant in

GATE or CEED (PaperB — 40 percent weightage)

Studio Test (3o percent weightage)

Personal Interaction (30 percentage).

Eligibility

o Undergraduate degree in Interior Design /Engineering / Design /Architecture or qualification with equivalent credentials: 10 2 4 years (at least4 years undergraduate program) or should appear for the final exams of such an arrangement by 2017 May– June OR

o The BFA program(4 Years Professional program that you qualify after 10th+2) OR

o The G.D. Art program (a 5-yearprogramthat you qualify after 10th) and a year of post qualification expertwork encounter at the time of enrollment. OR

o With at least a score of 55% marks (50% being the lowes tin the case of ST or SC applicants)

Notes:

i. Every qualification mentioned above should be Institution from India or have finished statutory University and other countries.

ii. Any applicant that has3 years’ undergraduate degree isn’t qualified to apply.

FEE STRUCTURE FOR M.DES ADMISSIONS 2017 BATCH

The charge fee for the 2017/2018 Academic year (group 2017 to 2019) is according to the following. The applicant upon being selected to the program should incur the full expenses at the period of enlistment to the program to affirm the enrollment.

In the time securing the affirmation after of paying the fees, if the applicant does not reply promptly to the SID desk within the first four weeks from beginning of sessions, his or her confirmation will stand to be wiped out and expenses will be discounted just according to the University policy.
