It’s important to take note of these crucial dates so as not to miss a single process:

• October 10, 2018 — Start of online application submissions
• January 06, 2019 — Last date for online application submissions
• November 25, 2018 — CAT 2018 schedule
• January 07, 2019 — XAT 2019 exam schedule
• November 30, 2018 — Last date for XAT 2019 application
• November 26, 2018 — Last date for NMAT and SNAP 2018 application

Here are 10 simple admission steps in the premium MBA colleges in India:

Step 1: Choose the business school (B-school) of your preference.
Step 2: Go online and check the MBA admission dates.
Step 3: Submit the application before the last date.
Step 4: Register for an MBA entrance exam through CAT/XAT/NMAT and check exam dates.
Step 5: Gather the examination requirements and submit the application before the last date.
Step 6: Download and print the Admit Card on the due date and sign it.
Step 7: On the day of the exam, bring your Admit Card with a photo ID. Don’t be late!
Step 8: Download and print your scorecard and check if you’re shortlisted for the PI round.
Step 9: Pass the PI round and wait for the admission offer.

• The main criterion for MBA admission in the top schools in India is a minimum of a three-year bachelor’s degree.
• A minimum of 50 percent marks from any of the Universities recognized by the Ministry of Human Resource Development in India
• For persons with disability, a minimum of 45 percent marks is needed
• For Scheduled Castes (SCs) and Scheduled Tribes (STs), a minimum of 45 percent marks is needed
